At Miss Daisy’s, we work hard to give your child the best start in life in an environment where the little things matter.
We have a dedicated team of Early Years Teachers who deliver the best foundation stage learning. Our nursery school environments are child-centred and well-resourced, allowing us to facilitate an individual learning experience for each and every child.
Each location within the Miss Daisy’s family is unique. Each setting provides a safe, welcoming environment where children are supported in small groups by their Key Teachers. For our youngest children, we endeavour to ensure that our staff to child ratios are high and exceed Ofsted requirements. The early years are crucial to a child’s development, it is where they build their future love of learning, life skills and independence. This is where their first friendships are created and relationships formed.
Opening Hours:
Our nursery schools are open during term-time. Our youngest children attend during the morning sessions until the are ready to extend to a full day, enjoying a hot lunch with their friends. Our weekly timetable is enhanced with specialist extracurricular teachers to ensure learning is extended, both in and out of the classrooms.

Parent Partnerships:
At Miss Daisy’s, partnerships with parents are of huge importance to us. From regular posts each day, to the observations shared on your child’s learning journal, communication with key staff is open, informative and welcomed.
We are always available to discuss your child’s needs and progress, or indeed any questions you may have.
Parents are welcomed into each setting and regularly contribute to the children’s learning through storytelling or participation in creative activities. Throughout the year, you will be invited to seasonal events such as; festive activities, Springtime events, our annual sports day and a farewell family celebration upon leaving for school.
Miss Daisy’s parents also have access to The Dukes Club, a wonderful online resource of webinars, advice and workshops from selected partners of the Dukes Education family.
Links with Future Schools:
Being part of the Dukes Education family of nurseries, schools and colleges allows us to work together and draw on the strengths of our neighbours and fellow educational providers.
If there is a particular school you would like your child to attend in the future, please discuss this with your Head Teacher who will be happy to support and advise you. Our future schools list can be found here.
